“Lace is formed from the absence of substance; it is imagined in the spaces between the threads.” ― Iris Anthony
Doesn’t that describe love pretty well?! Like poetry – it’s not in the words and sentences, but what each word (and space between words) means and signifies. A pause here, a silent moment there, and all those stolen glances.. It’s all so precious and romantic.
Or like mother’s sigh, when she looks at her sleeping child. No words could describe that feeling.. The smell of first rain of the season, when it hits the thirsty ground. The smell of your dinner, seconds before it’s set in front of your famished self. Your puppy when it sees you after you’ve been away. There are beautiful moments all around us that words can’t summerize, just waiting to be identified and cherished. What makes you speechless?
